Saratoga Forest Products assists over 50 North American sawmills with export sales, logistics,  documentation and payment negotiations.  These sawmills combined produce approx. 45,000m3 per day of Eastern White Pine, Ponderosa Pine, Southern Yellow Pine, Douglas Fir (Oregon Pine), Hemlock, Hem-Fir, Spruce and Cedar.  Most will not export without the help of an agent/exporter.

 

Many of our suppliers regularly forward your inquiries to our office.  We will either help them quote you for direct sale, or handle the sale ourselves by their request.  Many times these inquiries are not fitting do to wrong species, quality, lengths or size requirement. In this case we will take your specification to another mill better suited to handle your needs.

Please note that North American sawmills will grade each size into many different qualities from fine appearance boards, to factory lumber to be defect cut, to structural / strength grades for building.  Please include how your timber will be used so we may better offer you the correct quality.
